Curtis-C Tree & Lawn Services handles the tree work first. Then the crew helps put the yard back together with land and lawn services where they make sense. The crew works mainly in Kingsland and Llano, with regular jobs in the surrounding Hill Country communities.

Tree Removal
Some trees just need to come down—whether they are dead, badly damaged, leaning, or growing too close to homes, lines, or septic systems. Curtis-C specializes in large and tight‑quarters removals led by a professional arborist/climber. The crew uses climbing, rigging, and lift work as needed to protect your house and yard.
Limbs and trunk sections are lowered in a controlled way, and the crew takes care of brush and wood so you are not left with a mess when they leave.
Tree Trimming & Pruning
Good trimming keeps trees healthier and helps them ride out wind and storms better. Curtis-C trims for clearance over roofs, driveways, and walkways, thins heavy tops, and removes problem growth like ball moss and deadwood.
Each tree is looked at individually so it keeps a natural shape instead of being over‑cut.
Stump Grinding
Stumps and surface roots are hard on mowers and easy to trip on. Curtis-C grinds stumps below the surface and breaks up the worst of the exposed roots so the area can be mowed, re‑sodded, or re‑landscaped.
You can choose to keep the mulch, have it raked level, or have extra material hauled off as part of the job.
Emergency & Storm Damage Tree Services
When storms hit and a tree ends up on a house, across a drive, or leaning in a way that feels unsafe, Curtis-C offers storm cleanup and emergency tree work. After‑hours calls are available when safety is on the line.
The first goal is to make everything safe; then the crew can return, if needed, to finish cleanup and stump work.
Land, Lot & Lawn
Over time, yards and small acreage can close in with brush, cedar, and volunteer trees. Curtis-C can open things back up by clearing unwanted growth, making room for new builds, drives, fences, or just easier mowing.
Clearing can be light or more aggressive depending on whether you want to keep shade trees, open views, or both.
Landscaping & Lawn Services
The landscaping and lawn side of the business is there to support the tree and land work. Curtis-C handles mowing for larger spaces, sod removal and installation, simple grading and leveling, and rock or gravel work in the areas that need it.
The focus is on turf, sod, grading, mowing, and practical hardscaping that keeps your yard usable and clean.

Curtis-C Tree & Lawn also offers specialized tree services: ball moss and mistletoe removal, canopy elevations, crown reductions, tree pathogen testing and diagnostics, tree injections, shape and lace work, tree root aeration, tree planting and transplanting, tree cabling and bracing (above and below ground), oak painting for wilt protection, palm tree trimming and shaving, tree hollow sealant, and tree transport.
On the landscaping side, additional services include French drains, river rock and gravel work, xeriscaping, small concrete jobs, lawn mowing, lawn aeration, lawn fertilization, and pre-emergent treatments.
